Coast Capital has committed $100,000 to local food banks in B.C., Ontario and Alberta to help address critical food shortages caused by COVID-19. We’re also working closely with our other community partners to help bring relief and continuance to the critical frontline services they provide to our communities’ most vulnerable citizens. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched the Coast Capital Community Relief Fund. This $400,000 fund provided flexible, one-time operating grants to non-profits and small businesses in the communities we serve who were struggling with immediate lost revenue due to COVID-19, particularly those responding to an increased demand for food security, support for the homeless, mental health support, and employment resiliency.
