As an outstanding leader in the financial services sector, Calvin has a proven record of accomplishment in strategic planning, customer experience, capital raising, new market development, regulatory issues, and technology trends. This experience has positioned him well as Coast Capital’s President and CEO, and board member.
Before joining Coast Capital, Calvin held a wide variety of roles across the financial services industry, including President of TD Waterhouse Canada; Co-founder, Director and Managing Partner of QTrade Financial Group; and President and Managing Director of Assante Corporation.
Calvin holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Carlton University, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Level 3 Candidate.
Inspired to put members at the centre of our operations, Mauro leads the Commercial, Retail, and Wealth Banking Groups for Coast Capital. In doing so, he ensures organizational alignment on how we engage and serve all of our members so they can improve their financial potential and achieve their better future.
Mauro holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of British Columbia and brings over 25 years of experience in financial services to his role, including responsibilities for commercial, small business and retail banking.
Mauro actively contributes to a number of charity and non-profit organizations through community board positions in B.C. and Ontario. He is a dedicated board member for Alumni UBC and is currently President of the Famiglia Bagnolese Society. Mauro recently served as Secretary and Treasurer for United Way of the Lower Mainland. He puts his Provincial Soccer Referee License to good use as referee for the Fraser Valley Men’s Soccer league.
In his capacity as Coast Capital’s Chief Risk Officer, Peter is responsible for directing and leading the risk oversight function for Coast Capital in accordance with our risk appetite and regulatory requirements. This includes assessing the adequacy of, ensuring compliance with, and effectiveness of Coast Capital’s operating procedures.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Manitoba. He brings over 30 years of financial service experience to his role, including progressively senior roles within HSBC Bank Canada.
Peter is actively involved with his community. Currently, he is a Canadian Committee Member and Director for the Risk Management Association, an industry peer-sharing group which promotes risk management principles. Peter is the former Vice President of the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter and former Co-Treasurer for the Rotary Club of Langley.As Coast Capital’s Chief People Office, Ania is responsible for Coast Capital’s talent programs, processes, and policies. This includes optimizing people centered activities such as attraction and recruitment, professional development, recognition, rewards, and performance management to support the achievement of Coast Capital’s strategic objectives.
Prior to joining Coast, Ania held a variety of senior roles across the oil, gas and forestry industries within Canada, the United States, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. She has extensive knowledge in implementing innovative Human Resources and organizational effectiveness programs that maximize performance and improve employee engagement and leadership efficiency.
Ania holds a Masters of Organizational and Industrial Psychology from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science from York University. She actively contributes to a number of charity organizations in her community and has served as a Member of the Board of Directors for Vancouver Island Counselling.
As Chief Strategy, Product and Marketing Officer, Catherine provides end-to-end alignment of Coast Capital’s corporate, brand, and member experience strategy. She brings over 20 years of financial service experience to the team, including senior roles at Qtrade, TD Bank, and Assante, and was the Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer for Aviso Wealth.
Catherine holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Information Studies, both from the University of Toronto, as well as an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Mass Communications from York University.
Catherine is Board chair for Advocis, the largest voluntary professional membership association of financial advisors in Canada. She is also a dedicated Board member for Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation, where she focuses on improving diversity and equity for those with disabilities.

Helen is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Commerce from the University of Toronto. She is a Business in Vancouver 40 under 40 award recipient.
Helen actively volunteers within her community. Currently, she is a Director for both the Vancouver Foundation and the United Way. Helen is a former Board Member of the Fraser Health Authority, E-Comm 911 and a past Chair of the Early Childhood Development Provincial Partnership.
Lisa is responsible for all legal, corporate development, public affairs, internal and external communications, compliance and financial crimes risk management, as well as all corporate governance-related functions supporting the Board of Directors at Coast Capital.
Lisa has a Bachelor of Arts in History, a law degree from UBC and a Master of Laws in Business Law from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University. She is also a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors’ Director Education Program.
In 2022, Lisa was the recipient of Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award from the WXN. In 2017, Lisa was a recipient of the Lexpert Zenith Award: Celebrating Women in Law, and in 2015 was named to Canada’s Diversity 50 list by the Canadian Board Diversity Council. She also received the Association of Women in Finance’s PEAK award for Rising Star, and the National Post Award for Tomorrow’s Leader.
Lisa currently serves on the Nano One Board of Directors, and was previously Board Chair for Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Board Member for the Cause We Care Foundation, Chair of the B.C. Business Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association, and a member of the B.C. Securities Commission Law Advisory Committee.
Jeff is responsible for Coast Capital's mobile and online digital banking channels, information technology and security, enterprise project program and management, and back-office operations. Jeff heads all these initiatives to provide our members with an award-winning digital banking experience accessible anywhere and anytime, and our employees with best-in-class technology solutions and platforms.
Prior to joining Coast, Jeff was a Partner in PwC’s consulting practice based out of the Vancouver office, where he lead the Canadian merger integration practice. Jeff has significant experience successfully planning and executing merger integrations working with executives of Fortune 500 multi-national organizations to mid-market and private companies during his 17 years with PwC and 11+ years in the New York and Los Angeles offices.
Jeff has a Business Administration degree from Simon Fraser University and he is a Chartered Professional Accountant.

I’ve worked in a variety of HR leadership roles for 17 years and acted as consultant to admired Canadian and international organizations such as Accenture, Levi Strauss, Intrawest Corporation, and ScotiaBank.
What’s your education?
I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Organizational Studies from Simon Fraser University. I’m also a Certified Organizational Coach (COC) and I’ve previously attained both the Canadian Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation in Canada and the Senior Professional in HR (SPHR) designation in the United States.
Do you have any pets? If so, what are their names?
I have a very spoiled five-year-old French Bulldog named Lola, who dislikes dogs immensely and is unaware that she is a dog.
What do you do?
I have the honour of leading the risk management unit in the development and execution of policies and procedures to manage the risks we incur while executing our purpose to service our members.
What is your career background?
I spent 26 years at TD Bank in various positions from retail, commercial and wholesale banking to roles in transaction management and risk management. I also spent more than 2 years with OSFI in the Credit Risk Division supporting the Lead Supervisors in the assessment of the adequacy and effectiveness of controls around credit risk products.
What’s your education?
I have a B.Sc. in Geology from McMaster University in Hamilton as well as an MBA from Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto.
Favourite sports team?
Sorry Canucks fans but I am diehard Maple Leafs fan!
I manage all aspects of Coast Capital Savings' brand and I'm responsible for identifying and developing key marketing and public relations strategies.
I've worked for Coast Capital for over 25 years. During that time, my marketing team was named Marketer of the Year by the BC Chapter of the American Marketing Association and I was recognized as a "Marketer that Matters" by Marketing Magazine.
I have a BCom in Marketing from the University of British Columbia.
I'm a board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the South Coast of BC. It's a charitable organization that provides services to families, such as safe places for youth to play, counseling services to at-risk youth and creating employment opportunities.
I oversee the development of all corporate revenue, expense and capital expenditure plans and budgets. I'm also responsible for managing Coast Capital's accounting policies, and ensure we maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Additionally, I oversee interest rate risk and liquidity management along with centralized procurement and facilities management.
I've worked for Coast Capital for 20 years, which has allowed me to provide financial leadership to our organization through two mergers, many acquisitions, and challenging economic times.
I have a BSc Economics degree from the University of Victoria, a Master of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, and I'm a Chartered Professional Accountant.

I'm most interested in engaging youth through the power of sport. In my spare time, I like to keep active by running, biking and swimming.
